Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail management
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale and inventory management systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including outdoors
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume, big-box retail management
  • Multi-unit, district or regional leadership experience is a major plus
  • Skilled in reading reports, managing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions
  • Solid understanding of sales metrics, financial reports, and performance drivers
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and coach teams
  • Ability to engage large teams and represent the brand professionally

Job Duties

  • Manage the store leadership team and indirectly, all other department leaders and associates
  • Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members
  • Champion a world-class customer experience reflecting passion for the outdoors
  • Meet or exceed all sales, payroll, and profit targets while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Monitor store inventory, cash handling, operating accounts, and compliance to ensure integrity
  • Implement corporate merchandising, marketing, and promotional strategies on the sales floor
  • Ensure the store environment is organized, well-maintained, and safe for customers and associates
  • Resolve customer concerns and associate issues efficiently, professionally, and with integrity and care
  • Promote CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup offerings
  • Lead by example, foster team unity, and uphold company values in every interaction
