Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years restaurant management experience
  • Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance required
  • Completion of Management Training and Next Step Management Development Programs required
  • Certification and recertification through Management Training Programs required
  • Serve Safe Food and/or Serve Safe Alcohol Certification preferred
  • Ability to work minimum 50 hours per week
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Flexibility to adapt to company and business needs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality, Business, or Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred
  • Minimum 5 years restaurant management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and make decisions
  • Proficiency with restaurant equipment and point-of-sale systems
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and internet
  • Certification in Management Training Program required
  • Completion of Next Step Management Development Program required
  • Serve Safe Food and/or Serve Safe Alcohol Certification preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to apply company vision, values, and culture
  • Exceptional problem-solving and team-building capabilities

Job Duties

  • Manages recruitment, interviewing, selection, hiring, and training of team members
  • Plans, directs, and evaluates team member performance
  • Sets and adjusts pay rates and work hours
  • Handles complaints, discipline, and performance management
  • Creates a positive workplace environment aligned with company vision, values, and culture
  • Provides leadership that fosters enthusiasm, guest focus, productivity, respect, and commitment
  • Completes all restaurant tasks and ensures guest needs are met
  • Collaborates with Operations Director and HR on team discipline and separations
  • Establishes open communication and conducts regular team meetings
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Guides management personnel development through training programs
  • Leads team to welcome guests with quality operations and personalized service
  • Monitors food handling procedures and recipe execution
  • Manages purchasing and inventory of food and non-food items
  • Ensures food safety knowledge and compliance for health inspections
  • Achieves acceptable health department and quality audits
  • Builds community relationships and participates in marketing initiatives
  • Oversees profitable restaurant operations including sales, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Supervises deliveries and inventory management
  • Maintains high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and facility management
  • Manages facility maintenance, preventive care, and security
  • Monitors administrative tasks including cash control and financial reporting
  • Engages in ongoing education and professional development
  • Maintains flexibility to work extended hours as needed
