Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance, reward and discipline staff including terminations
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew members
  • Monitor quality food standards and cleanliness
  • Control cash security procedures, inventory, food and labor management
  • Manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, carryout cost, and other controllables
  • Control food costs by recipe adherence and weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor schedules using company tools
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
