Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years leadership experience in a restaurant
  • Experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food and labor cost management
  • Ability to enforce health, safety, and sanitation compliance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to recruit, train, and develop staff
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and address disciplinary actions including termination
  • Shape culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipate variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolving any service or quality issues
  • Maintain efficient operations including cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, and equipment use
  • Manage food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Maintain facilities and company assets
  • Perform other assigned duties
