Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years of prior restaurant experience preferred
  • previous leadership role experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage and resolve conflicts
  • capable of coaching and mentoring staff
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring bending and reaching
  • must comply with state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • basic computer literacy
  • strong organizational and planning skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan and assign tasks
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline staff including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and boost employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling activities
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain operational efficiency and cost controls
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety, and security compliance
  • enforce safety protocols
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
  • review financial reports and schedules
  • manage profit and loss including food and labor costs
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • oversee maintenance of facility and assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
