Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years restaurant experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • Knowledge of OSHA and local health and safety codes
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for handling objects
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Vision capabilities including close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth perception
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas
  • Availability to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and handle disciplinary actions including termination
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management
  • Cascade corporate initiatives to staff
  • Occasionally assist with category job duties
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
  • Ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies compliance
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food standards and cleanliness
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control and inventory management
  • Manage profit and loss aspects including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Control food costs through recipes, portion control, and weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor costs through effective scheduling and monitoring
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
