Job Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience
  • previous management or supervisory experience required
  • must be fluent in English

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • previous management or supervisory experience required
  • 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
  • confident in generating personal sales and training sales representatives
  • ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
  • fluent in English with excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • solution-based and results oriented with a competitive spirit
  • highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
  • proficiency with computers and studio software
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • ability to travel to California for initial training

Job Duties

  • Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
  • implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
  • manage membership and retail sales
  • manage staff schedule
  • directly coordinate with all vendors ensuring studio retail products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • supervise sales representatives
  • use gym management software and POS systems to generate revenue and attendance reports
  • review instructor evaluations
  • independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • collect outstanding dues
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
  • enforce studio policies and procedures
  • ensure all forms, supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible
  • schedule and participate in networking and community events and studio promotions
  • strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  • perform other duties as assigned
