Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent business management experience
- management experience required
- minimum of five years of comprehensive experience in operations management
- minimum of seven years of management or supervisory experience in a transit environment
- knowledge of Trapeze scheduling software
- expertise in labor and union negotiations
- full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and safety DOT and FTA compliance
- proficiency in MS Office
- strong analytical skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- high degree of multitasking skills

Job Duties
- Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs
- identify, select, train and mentor location staff
- communicate effectively and frequently with staff and support teams
- oversee vehicle maintenance plans and ensure fleet availability
- oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements
- maintain routine client contact to exceed expectations
- conduct periodic departmental audits
- review key operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly
- manage financial metrics continuously and develop action plans for improvements
- implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
- interact with committees to effect positive policy changes
- participate in labor and employee relations activities
- provide insights to support contract renewals
- create and present location annual budget
