Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance
- Reward and discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape the restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members
- Model professional behavior to create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with duties as needed
- Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests
- Investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
- Manage weekly schedules and labor performance
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and assets
- Perform all other duties as assigned
