Job Description
This job posting is for a General Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent McDonald's franchisee, a separate company from McDonald's USA. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- proven experience managing high volume restaurant operations
- ability to lead and develop teams
- knowledge of restaurant standards for quality, service, and cleanliness
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience in high volume locations
- background in quick service restaurants preferred
- experience in hospitality or retail considered
- leadership and team management skills
- ability to set and achieve operational goals
- strong communication and coaching skills
- must be 18 years or older
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant
- ensure restaurant meets McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create plans
- lead a team of Department Managers
- help Department Managers set goals and provide coaching
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- improve departmental performance to enhance overall restaurant operations
