Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior leadership experience
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
- compliance with state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving restaurants
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands
- ability to communicate verbally and visually

Job Duties
- manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and handle rewarding or disciplining of employees including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
- cascade corporate programs and initiatives
- occasionally assist with job duties
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
- ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and managing labor
- manage profit and loss including food, labor, and carryout costs
- control food costs by following recipes and portion control
- manage labor costs through scheduling and sales performance monitoring
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform all other duties as assigned
