Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • compliance with state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving restaurants
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands
  • ability to communicate verbally and visually
  • willingness to maintain safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and handle rewarding or disciplining of employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • occasionally assist with job duties
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and managing labor
  • manage profit and loss including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • control food costs by following recipes and portion control
  • manage labor costs through scheduling and sales performance monitoring
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other duties as assigned
