Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and manage discipline including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • promote a positive restaurant culture and employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and hospitality
  • communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • manage cash control and inventory
  • control food, labor, and carryout costs
  • manage employee schedules and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other duties as assigned
