Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and manage discipline including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- promote a positive restaurant culture and employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members
- model professional behavior and hospitality
- communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
- assist with category job duties as needed
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- maintain efficient cost controls and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company security policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness
- manage cash control and inventory
- control food, labor, and carryout costs
- manage employee schedules and monitor sales performance
- ensure proper use of equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform all other duties as assigned
