Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and provide rewards and discipline including terminations
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and create a warm and hospitable environment
- communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
- cascade corporate programs and initiatives to management and staff
- assist team members with job duties as needed
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
- ensure OSHA, health, safety, and security compliance
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management
- manage profit and loss items
- control food costs and oversee weekly inventory
- optimize labor schedules and monitor sales performance
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform all other assigned duties
