Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to perform this job
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work well under stress and maintain composure
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic market knowledge

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names to ensure they feel properly welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Use relevant technology and answer phone calls with friendly service
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Contribute to cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain a smiling demeanor
- Conduct daily supervision walks including guest rooms and public spaces
- Onboard new team members and ensure adherence to onboarding processes
- Complete daily summary and night audit processes accurately
- Prepare and submit shift handover reports and daily operational reports
- Oversee brand standards and quality assurance expectations
- Ensure all team members adhere to proper uniform and greeting standards
- Certify that all fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies are corrected
- Confirm completion of preventative maintenance tasks
- Monitor work schedule adherence and adjust shifts when necessary
- Build a culture of learning and safety
- Provide training and development opportunities
- Offer daily constructive coaching and feedback
- Review time clock punches in accordance with policy
- Manage purchase orders and invoice processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and inventory
- Facilitate teamwork and communication among staff
