- 4-6 years of prior experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance and handle employee rewards and discipline including terminations
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to the management team
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with category duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost control, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health codes, and company safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
- Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control cash, inventory, food, labor, and review financial reports
- Manage food cost, labor cost, carryout cost, and other controllables
- Follow recipes and portion control to control food cost
- Manage weekly employee schedules and labor costs
- Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
