Job Duties

  • Order supplies and oversee building maintenance cleanliness and security
  • accountable for production of Always Fresh standards and waste levels
  • plan and work to budgets maximize profits and achieve sales and transaction targets
  • control food paper and labour costs administer payrolls
  • recruit new team members and manage performance including training and development
  • motivate and encourage team to achieve targets
  • build bench strength by identifying and developing high potential employees
  • set goals and objectives for team
  • ensure open door policy for team members
  • maintain excellent communication with all shifts
  • provide open communication with General Manager and Restaurant Owner
  • ensure restaurant compliance with applicable legislation
  • maintain high standards of guest experience
  • implement company policies procedures and ethics
  • handle guest complaints and queries professionally
  • prepare reports and conduct performance analysis
  • establish relationships with local community and support corporate social responsibility
  • establish security procedures reduce theft and ensure safety
  • provide leadership on waste management
  • comply with health and safety legislation
  • wear personal protective equipment
  • follow safe work practices and procedures
  • ensure health and safety program is in place
  • train team members on hazards and document training
