Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff
  • Knowledge of operational policies and procedures
  • Ability to enforce health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to stand long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Assign, direct, and appraise work performance
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Monitor sales performance and communicate results to the team
  • Assist with category job duties as needed
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling and operational efficiency
  • Maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Enforce OSHA and health and safety codes
  • Maintain cost control over food, labor, and inventory
  • Manage schedules using labor scheduling tools
  • Oversee equipment use and facility maintenance
  • Perform all other assigned duties
