Job Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4 to 6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • Ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service if applicable

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, assign, appraise, reward, discipline, and terminate employees
  • Cultivate a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable environment
  • Communicate sales performance and implement corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with tasks as needed
  • Promote sales growth and maximize table turnover and sales
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain cost controls, profitability, and efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Oversee cash control, inventory, food and labor management, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • Manage food and labor costs effectively
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned
