Job Requirements
- minimum 3 to 5 years experience as general manager preferred
- proven ability to deliver financial results including P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting
- experience building and leading teams
- strong focus on associate engagement and guest satisfaction
- knowledge of revenue management, sales, marketing, and food and beverage operations
- understanding of OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, NFPA regulations
- ability to manage labor productivity
- creative problem-solving and strategic execution skills
- experience in branded or upscale hotel environments a plus
Job Qualifications
- proven track record in delivering financial results with effective financial management skills such as analyzing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
- proven track record of building, influencing, and growing cohesive teams
- positive associate engagement and guest satisfaction scores
- knowledge of cross-discipline strategies including revenue management, sales, marketing, and food and beverage
- understanding of governmental regulations and safety standards including OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, NFPA
- ability to manage labor productivity effectively
- creative problem-solving skills and ability to execute strategy to deliver results
- minimum 3 to 5 years experience as general manager preferred
- experience with branded or upscale hotel properties is a plus
Job Duties
- lead, develop, and influence teams to deliver overall financial, cultural, and experiential results
- achieve business goals while ensuring style and ambiance are on brand
- serve as the strategic business leader responsible for overall hotel performance including P&L, guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor
- direct leadership teams and develop performance of all operating departments including food and beverage, sales, marketing, and human resources
- lead day-to-day culture maintaining ethical leadership to achieve associate engagement and guest satisfaction
- build owner confidence through proactive communication, managing expectations, and delivering business results
- perform other duties as assigned by regional vice presidents and corporate leadership
