Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
- Ability to communicate clearly with employees, members, and the public
- Ability to access and operate company computer systems including document preparation and data entry
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of sales management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
- Strong detail orientation and systematic approach to problem solving
- Good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Excellent MS Office skills

Job Duties
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members
- Set and achieve membership and revenue goals
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop strategies to increase membership retention and new sign-ups
- Provide constructive feedback to staff members on their performance
- Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving issues
- Engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain certifications
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility including equipment and common areas
- Communicate calmly and clearly during emergencies or disruptions to ensure safety
