Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent business management experience
- Minimum five years of comprehensive experience in operations management
- Minimum seven years of management or supervisory experience in a transit environment
- Knowledge of Trapeze scheduling software
- Expertise in labor and union negotiations
- Full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, DOT and FTA safety compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Additional duties based on contract requirements
Job Qualifications

- Management experience required
- Minimum five years of comprehensive operations management experience
- Minimum seven years of management or supervisory experience in transit environment
- Knowledge of Trapeze scheduling software
- Expertise in labor and union negotiations
- Understanding of dispatch, scheduling, recruitment, and DOT and FTA safety compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of multi-tasking skills
Job Duties
- Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs
- Identify, select, train and mentor location staff
- Communicate frequently with location staff and support team members
- Oversee vehicle maintenance plan to ensure fleet availability
- Manage safety and training programs in compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements
- Maintain routine client contact to meet or exceed expectations
- Conduct periodic departmental audits
- Review key operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly
- Manage all location financial metrics and develop action plans for exceptions
- Implement and promote company policies and procedures
- Interact with committee to support policy and program improvements
- Participate in labor and employee relations activities
- Provide information to support contract renewals
- Create and present annual budget for location
