Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and enforce discipline
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and foster employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and forecast variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with job duties when needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash procedures, inventory, labor, and food costs
  • manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • conduct weekly inventory
  • optimize employee scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and company assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
