Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance and handle rewards, discipline, and terminations
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • foster a positive employee culture and engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily food quality and cleanliness
  • oversee cash, inventory, financial reports, and scheduling
  • manage food, labor, and other controllable costs
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • maintain facility and assets
  • perform other assigned duties
