Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise employee performance and handle rewards, discipline, and terminations
- address complaints and resolve problems
- foster a positive employee culture and engagement
- coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior to create a warm hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
- assist team members with duties as needed
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve service issues
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor daily food quality and cleanliness
- oversee cash, inventory, financial reports, and scheduling
- manage food, labor, and other controllable costs
- ensure proper use of equipment
- maintain facility and assets
- perform other assigned duties
