Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role is required
  • minimum of 4-6 years in family, fast-food or casual dining preferred
  • must meet state mandated age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach with hands and use fingers
  • ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell and verbally communicate
  • visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • able to freely access all restaurant areas
  • flexible to work various shifts including weekends
  • able to comply with updated safety and sanitation procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance and manage disciplinary actions including terminations
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • foster a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and promote a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls
  • ensure OSHA and safety policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guest and crew safety
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform additional duties as assigned
