Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4-6 years prior experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- Prior leadership experience required
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, organization, and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls
- Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell, and verbally communicate effectively
- Ability to see with close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
- Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas
- Adherence to company safety and sanitation procedures
- Compliance with OSHA and local health and safety codes

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
- Address employee complaints and resolve problems
- Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior to create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
- Monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, security procedures, inventory management, food and labor costs, financial reports, and schedules
- Manage P&L including food, labor, carryout costs and other controllable items
- Follow recipes and portion control to manage food costs
- Oversee weekly inventory processes
- Optimize weekly employee schedules using labor scheduling tools
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform all other duties as assigned
