Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • knowledge of company policies and applicable laws
  • ability to recruit, hire, and train employees
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • competency in staff management and performance appraisal
  • excellent organizational and planning skills
  • ability to handle multiple projects
  • physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and use hands effectively
  • ability to meet safety and health code standards
  • availability to work various shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train staff
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising employee performance
  • foster a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • assist team members with tasks when needed
  • promote sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • manage P&L and optimize schedules
  • maintain restaurant equipment and facilities
  • perform all other assigned duties
