Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in specialized profession or equivalent
- prior experience demonstrating effective supervision and leadership skills
- manufacturing background required for branch locations engaged in manufacturing activities
- ability to sit for extended periods using a computer, keyboard, and mouse frequently
- ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- willingness to travel periodically including overnight stays
- compliance with all relevant laws and company policies
- commitment to maintaining a safe and hazard-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in specialized profession or equivalent
- manufacturing background is required for branch locations engaged in manufacturing activities
- prior experience demonstrating effective supervision and leadership skills
- managerial experience in a distribution center
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs
- proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics and able to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- effective communication skills across departments and management
- ability to present, resolve and address sensitive situations
- capability to motivate and persuade others
- problem solving using knowledge, precedents, and practices
- decision-making impacting management and operations within a department
- ability to set goals and priorities for functional area
- strong organizational and project oversight skills
Job Duties
- Establish and execute goals and objectives to meet long term growth plans of the company
- Establish and track performance standards to meet goals of company
- Train, develop, coach, and motivate team to achieve location's business objectives
- Establish accurate budget projections and work within designated budget
- Maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, statutes and regulations, as well as all Company policies and procedures
- Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace
- Assume other duties as assigned
- Manage the work of others including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensure quality standards
- Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff
