Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
- Compliance with all applicable state-mandated alcohol serving age requirements where applicable
- Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands to finger and handle objects
- Good sensory abilities including taste, smell, and vision
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively
- Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants strongly preferred
- College and/or culinary schooling preferred
- Excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape the restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and labor management
- Manage food cost, labor cost, carryout cost and other controllable items
- Follow recipes and portion control, perform weekly inventory
- Optimize employee schedules and monitor sales performance
- Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
