Job Requirements

  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years experience in sales, management, or people development
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to lift 30 lb box overhead
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Lead a confident and knowledgeable team that delivers a differentiated experience for customers
  • Listen and respond to internal and external customers and build strong relationships
  • Drive change in key areas to improve customer experience and use feedback to coach and recognize teams
  • Inspect store pages for accuracy to prevent negative customer experience
  • Manage appearance, cleanliness, and upkeep of the retail building and equipment
  • Create and oversee day-to-day execution of strategic plan driving sales and profitability
  • Make business decisions based on market competition, customer insights, and company reports
  • Maintain compliance with company directives, policies, and safety procedures
  • Inspect schedules for proper allocation supporting peak traffic times and key events
  • Promote a fun and inclusive working atmosphere aligned with core values
  • Create plans to improve associate engagement and retention
  • Develop individual development plans for store leaders
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to assistant general managers
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a passionate and knowledgeable team
  • Oversee compensation, disciplinary, and HR-related actions following company standards
