Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in related restaurant environments preferred
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must comply with OSHA and local safety standards
  • Ability to perform assigned job duties

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and terminate employees as necessary
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to the management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash handling, inventory management, scheduling, and reviewing financial reports
  • Manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and controllable expenses
  • Follow recipes and portion control to manage food costs
  • Optimize labor schedules and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facility
  • Perform all other assigned duties
