Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, use hands to handle objects, bend, stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Verbal communication skills
  • Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation following current CDC and local guidelines
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
  • Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • Monitor daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management, financial reviews, and scheduling
  • Manage food, labor, carryout costs and other controllable expenses
  • Perform weekly inventory processes
  • Optimize employee schedules and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
