Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to perform physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, and moving throughout the hotel
- Ability to operate computers and office equipment
- Travel may be required
- Must effectively communicate in English including reading, writing, speaking, and interpreting documents
- Must be able to follow job-related instructions and perform other duties as assigned

- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages at select properties
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic market knowledge
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality preferred
- Experience in Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work collaboratively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized both front and back of the house
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Always greet guests happily while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with a nametag and smile
- Communicate professionally and clearly with team members
- Demonstrate a willing and positive attitude beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate effectively to create a welcoming atmosphere and positive workplace
- Conduct daily supervision including room and public space walkthroughs
- Onboard new team members following established processes
- Complete daily summary and night audit processes per policy
- Start and complete shift handover reports
- Oversee adherence to brand standards and quality assurance expectations
- Ensure all team members follow the MCR attire standards
- Certify all fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies corrected
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and quality checked
- Ensure team members adhere to established work schedules
- Build a culture of learning and safety
- Ensure staff have required functional expertise
- Communicate future growth opportunities and career paths
- Provide daily moment-to-moment coaching with positivity
- Review previous day’s team member time clock punches
- Manage purchase order and invoice processing
- Maintain MCR approved storage cleanliness and inventory protocols
