Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years of prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • For alcohol-serving restaurants, comply with all state age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach with hands, finger, handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and adjust focus
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including sales floor, stock area, and register area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work

  • Shape and maintain restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction

  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • investigate and resolve food quality/service issues, ensuring 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control operations including cash control, inventory management, food and labor costs, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • Manage profit and loss elements such as food cost, labor cost, and carryout cost
  • Control food costs through recipe and portion adherence and oversee inventory
  • Optimize employee scheduling using company labor tools
  • Maintain proper use of equipment and facility upkeep
  • Perform all other assigned duties as needed
