Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- Prior experience in theme/amusement parks, zoos, waterparks or cultural attractions preferred
- Ability to coach and supervise management teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to articulate to clients and upper management
- Computer knowledge for office tasks
- Physical stamina for operational duties
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including holidays
- Must meet all local, state, and federal regulations
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports
Job Qualifications
- Five years operations management experience
- Two years management in cultural, iconic, amusement or museum attractions preferred
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership with team building and development
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making
- Financial management, merchandising and analytical skills
- Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency for basic office functions
- Physical ability to stand and lift boxes up to 35 lbs
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Coach, supervise, direct all department managers so operational needs are met daily
- Schedule management personnel as necessary
- Assist management in developing training standards for alcohol service, customer service, safety, and harassment
- Host all meetings for management team and conduct training sessions
- Work with Executive Chef, Retail Operations Manager and Buyer to track and budget inventory and cost of goods
- Act as main liaison between client and SSA
- Maintain positive working relationship with client staff
- Collaborate with marketing to drive company efforts and guest experience
- Attend client meetings and report monthly to Regional Manager
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
- Maintain clean, safe, organized work environment
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Manage financial through budgeting, forecasting, and sales/per cap management
- Ensure fiscal deadlines met
- Review invoices processed
- Provide reports for cash reconciliation, flash reporting, inventory, payroll percentages
- Complete business assessments with market pricing
- Forecast weekly sales and maintain sales analysis
- Manage payroll and controllable profit within guidelines
- Set precedent to achieve sales, per cap, and budget goals
- Minimize controllable costs and strategize revenue opportunities
- Implement SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards
- Oversee day-to-day functions of departments
- Manage contract compliance
- Support progressive discipline documentation
- Keep operating manuals updated
- Review and approve special event plans
- Manage menu design and pricing
- Lead long-range planning for department programs
- Manage capital projects
- Handle business legal needs with HQ
- Manage employee integration and exit in compliance
- Promote inclusive, supportive unit culture
- Manage unit publications
- Ensure sustainability and conservation efforts
- Support community engagement and giving back
- Perform other tasks as necessary
