Job Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to articulate to clients and HQ personnel
- Proven leadership skills with understanding of team building and partnerships
- Exceptional problem solving and decision making with organized approach
- Demonstrated financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning and leadership skills
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Computer knowledge and skills for basic office functions
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- Two to five years retail management experience in cultural, iconic, amusement or museum attractions preferred
- Strong experience with retail gifts, financial statements, building projects, contract and client management, personnel management and development, communication and computer skills
- Proven leadership and team building skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning and leadership capabilities
- Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic office computer functions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to articulate with clients and headquarters personnel
Job Duties
- Serve as liaison between SSA Group and client to maintain excellent relationship and ensure client and customer satisfaction
- Oversee Retail Operations Manager, Unit Controller and employee team
- Ensure all Retail functions and oversight are met or exceeded by Operations Manager
- Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure memorable experience for every guest
- Maintain knowledge and implementation of contract with professional discretion
- Host all meetings for senior staff employees
- Conduct training sessions as needed ensuring managers are properly trained
- Support progressive discipline documentation through management and staff collaboration
- Ensure all fiscal deadlines are met and manage final check on all invoices processed
- Maintain close relationship with direct client report and client staff
- Attend client meetings and report to Regional or District Manager
- Provide precise reports for cash reconciliation, flash reporting, item analysis, monthly inventory and payroll
- Take active role in long-range planning of retail programs
- Manage compliance with applicable laws
- Uphold and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as necessary
- Promote inclusive and supportive approach within Brand team and networking at all units
- Remove barriers and empower growth and opportunity at all levels
- Lead by example in sustainability and conservation efforts, educating staff
- Engage in community efforts through activities and giving back opportunities
