Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • assign work, appraise performance, reward and discipline staff including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems promptly
  • cultivate a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs through schedules and financial reports
  • manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and carryout cost
  • follow recipes and portion control
  • conduct weekly inventory
  • optimize employee schedules using labor management tools
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • maintain facility and assets
  • perform all other duties as assigned
