Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and mentor a team
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and P&L management
- Ability to enforce health, safety, and OSHA compliance
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Capable of bending, stooping, and performing manual tasks
- Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate effectively
- Capability to visually inspect and access all restaurant areas
- Must meet state requirements for alcohol service if applicable

- Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance and provide rewards or discipline including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and variances to management team
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors and maintain a safe environment
- Monitor daily activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
- Control cash, inventory, food, and labor management
- Review financial reports and schedules, taking appropriate actions
- Manage P&L including food and labor costs
- Control food costs by following recipes and portion control
- Manage labor costs via optimized scheduling and sales monitoring
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
