Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but all education backgrounds accepted
  • Five years operations management experience
  • Two years management experience in cultural, iconic, amusement or museum attraction preferred
  • ServSafe certification a plus
  • Proven leadership with team building and development skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with financial management and analytical planning
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency with basic office functions
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 35lbs
  • Availability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Coach, supervise, direct all department managers so operational needs are met on a daily basis
  • Schedule management personnel as necessary
  • Assist management team in developing training standards for alcohol service, customer service, safety, harassment
  • Host all management team meetings and conduct training sessions
  • Work with Executive Chef, Retail Operations Manager and Buyer to track, maintain and budget inventory and Cost of Goods
  • Act as main liaison between the Client and SSA
  • Maintain positive working relationships with client staff
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive guest experience and operational output
  • Attend Client meetings and report to Regional Manager
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
  • Uphold and demonstrate company policies and procedures
  • Manage financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and expense control
  • Ensure fiscal deadlines are met and manage invoice processing
  • Provide detailed financial and operational reports to Regional Manager
  • Conduct business assessment and sales forecasting
  • Manage payroll and controllable profit
  • Implement SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards
  • Manage day to day functions of all applicable departments
  • Maintain contract knowledge and professional discretion
  • Support progressive discipline documentation
  • Update operating manuals
  • Approve plans for major special events
  • Oversee menu design and pricing
  • Participate in long-range planning
  • Manage capital projects
  • Handle business legal needs with HQ
  • Oversee employee integration and exit
  • Promote inclusivity and support
  • Manage unit publications
  • Drive sustainability and conservation efforts
  • Support community engagement and giving back
  • Perform other necessary tasks
