Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage finances and control costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 13 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to participate in community activities
  • Reliable and responsible work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulations applicable to restaurant operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to manage financial aspects including food cost and labor controls
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in training and developing staff
  • Ability to participate in community marketing activities
  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and safety practices

Job Duties

  • Ensure the restaurant is in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including health, labor, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA and OSHA
  • Adhere to Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness
  • Manage profitability by controlling food cost, labor, utilities, and sales growth
  • Coordinate and implement operational plans and company initiatives
  • Ensure proper staffing with qualified and trained personnel
  • Continuously train and develop assistant and shift managers
  • Participate actively in local restaurant marketing
  • Implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives
  • Maintain accurate programs, reports and legal documents
  • Engage in community affairs to enhance sales and public relations
  • Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively
  • Communicate issues promptly to GM/Owner
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and report problems
  • Work standing for up to 13 hours
  • Lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Perform other duties assigned by Owner
