Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in sales or fitness industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficiency with club management software
  • Capability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Commitment to maintaining club cleanliness and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to consistently generate new club memberships through marketing leads, referral leads, and club tours
  • Proficient in identifying potential member needs and using solution-selling techniques
  • Ability to thrive in competitive sales environments while fostering a cohesive team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet challenging monthly quotas and achieve production excellence within 30 days
  • Skilled at handling multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced settings
  • Experience training others in membership sales and referral techniques

Job Duties

  • Generate at least 50% of club tours through member referrals, marketing, and community outreach
  • Convert at least 70% of incoming telephone inquiries to appointments for club tours
  • Enroll at least 80% of all touring prospects
  • Schedule at least 60% of new members for a Complimentary Success Session with Fitness Department staff
  • Enter prospect and guest information into club management software and complete all relevant tracking processes
  • Maintain immaculate club conditions
  • Oversee the retention strategy and systems
