Job Requirements

  • Ged/diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • At least 2 years in a similar industry
  • 6 years experience in the industry or related field
  • Experience with last-mile delivery or small parcel preferred
  • Experience with an independent contractor model
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team
  • Proficient in ms office suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
  • Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly
  • systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
  • Maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with vendors and independent contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
