Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in cafe or retail management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and other activities
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions including heat, cold, and noise

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and tea products preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach and develop a team effectively
  • Experience managing store operations and financial performance
  • Creative mindset for merchandising and customer engagement
  • Commitment to upholding company core values and customer service standards

Job Duties

  • Lead by example as a store leader and advocate for the team by driving profitability, service, performance, and operational excellence through coaching and training
  • Be a coffee and tea expert by sharing passion and providing a total quality experience for guests and team members
  • Generate new guests and build loyal local community relationships
  • Ensure a safe store environment prioritizing health and safety for employees and guests
  • Manage store operations and risk, track sales, and contribute ideas to support store growth
  • Create memorable guest experiences through visual merchandising and product placement
  • Build the store presence in the community to attract and retain talent
  • Mentor assistant general managers and staff by sharing knowledge and embodying company values
