Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager in a branded hotel environment
- experience with Choice brand strongly preferred
- demonstrated success in guest satisfaction, team leadership, and financial performance
- strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments
- proven ability to engage and develop teams with a hands-on leadership style
- solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P and L management
- excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in hospitality management systems and tools
- bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field preferred
- strong sense of accountability and ownership

Job Duties
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead department heads and team members
- foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes high morale and productivity
- uphold and model company and brand standards in appearance, professionalism, and behavior
- ensure team alignment with StepStone's mission, vision, and values
- manage all aspects of hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and sales
- maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction, with a focus on GSS/TripAdvisor performance
- ensure compliance with brand standards and operational policies
- develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial KPIs
- monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, taking corrective actions when needed
- analyze performance data and implement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth
- partner with sales and marketing teams to optimize occupancy and revenue
- build strong community relationships to increase local and group bookings
- support innovative marketing strategies to elevate brand presence and market share
- ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards
- lead emergency preparedness, risk management, and property safety initiatives
- oversee preventative maintenance programs to protect property assets
- perform other duties as assigned
