Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • prior leadership role required
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements for applicable locations
  • physical ability to stand and walk long periods
  • capability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, and use hands for manual tasks
  • ability to taste, smell, and communicate verbally
  • vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • ability to access all areas of the restaurant
  • willingness to comply with safety and sanitation procedures according to CDC and local guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance and manage rewards and discipline including termination
  • address complaints and resolve employee and guest issues
  • shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture and employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • maintain efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guest and crew safety
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, managing food and labor costs, and reviewing financial reports
  • manage P&L encompassing food cost, labor cost, and carryout cost
  • control food costs through recipe and portion control and weekly inventory
  • optimize labor schedules using company tools and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform any other assigned duties
