Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industries
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- Must be able to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be proficient in Windows operating systems and company software
- Must be attentive to detail and meet deadlines
- Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures
- Must possess good communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to manage financial data and perform basic arithmetic
- Must be able to lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds
- Must be effective in time clock and inventory management

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work with team members to achieve high guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
- Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a willingness to extend beyond traditional roles
- Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment for guests and positive workplace
- Conduct daily walks throughout the hotel ensuring service and cleanliness
- Oversee onboarding of new team members and adherence to onboarding processes
- Ensure completion of daily summary and night audit processes
- Manage submission and review of shift handover reports and daily reports
- Oversee adherence to brand standards and quality assurance expectations
- Enforce uniform and appearance standards among team members
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are up to date and deficiencies corrected
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed and checked
- Monitor adherence to work schedules and manage shifts
- Foster a culture of learning and safety
- Ensure staff maintain required expertise through training
- Communicate career growth opportunities
- Provide daily coaching with positive feedback
- Review team member time clock punches according to policy
- Verify purchase orders and invoice processing comply with procedures
- Manage inventory and storage conditions according to program
