Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent business management experience
- management experience required
- minimum of five years comprehensive operations management experience
- seven years management or supervisory experience in a transit environment
- knowledge of Trapeze scheduling software
- labor and union negotiations expertise
- full understanding of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment and safety DOT and FTA compliance
- proficiency in MS Office
- strong analytical skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- high degree of multi-tasking skills

Job Duties
- Effectively manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs
- identify, select, train and mentor location staff
- effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members
- oversee vehicle maintenance plan and ensure fleet availability
- oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations
- conduct periodic departmental audits
- review key operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly
- manage location financial metrics continuously and develop action plans for exceptions
- implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
- interact with bridges committee to effectuate positive policy changes
- participate in labor and employee relations activities
- provide insights to support contract renewals
- create and present annual location budget
