Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Class A member of PGA or LPGA
  • Experience in club or facility management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Job Duties

  • Prepares and monitors annual budget, revenue goals and expenses
  • generates business volume forecasts
  • Monitors monthly and other financial reports and takes corrective action when necessary
  • Works alongside owner representatives to ensure club success
  • Establishes and monitors personnel policies, training and professional development
  • Ensures Human Resources procedures and policies are followed
  • Develops and administers organizational plans and initiates improvements
  • Oversees care and maintenance of facility’s physical assets
  • Manages Food & Beverage department organization
  • Implements policies and procedures ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Interviews, hires, trains, plans, assigns, directs and evaluates staff
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems
  • Directly manages department heads including Director of Golf, Golf Course Superintendent, Membership Director, Director of Engineering, and Food & Beverage Director
  • Ensures effective orientation and ongoing training for associates
