Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long distances
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for various tasks
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Physical ability to access all restaurant areas
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA and health safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Dedication to exceptional guest service
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or discipline including termination
  • Resolve employee complaints and operational issues
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a friendly, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
  • Implement corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling and sales-building activities
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • Greet guests and address food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company policies
  • Promote safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage schedules using company labor tools
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and facility
  • Undertake other duties as assigned
