Job Requirements

  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant environments preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance, reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior while creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company security policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food, labor, and schedules
  • manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • control food costs by following recipes and portion control
  • manage labor costs through scheduling and monitoring
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and company assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
