Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a General Manager or 2+ years as General Manager over 2 or more hotels
  • willingness to relocate
  • proven track record of delivering strong operational results
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • leadership capability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • familiarity with brand standards and corporate partnerships

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management, business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • extensive rooms and/or food and beverage experience
  • previous experience as a General Manager with a major branded hotel
  • proficiency in Microsoft suite, cloud-based apps, and hotel property management systems
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Collaborate on operational plans to achieve revenue and guest satisfaction targets
  • lead associates to meet service and satisfaction goals through positive guest experiences
  • utilize brand tools creatively to meet current and future guest expectations
  • ensure preventive maintenance of the property including mechanical and IT systems
  • manage loss prevention and risk management policies to protect hotel assets and ensure safety
  • engage with associates to improve hotel culture and embrace core values
